Dictionary.com defines "effective" as "adequate to accomplish a purpose", "actually in operation or in force; functioning" or "producing a deep or vivid impression; striking" (among others). "System" is defined as "an assemblage or combination of things or parts forming a complex or unitary whole" (among many others). Think about it.
I plan to discuss topics such as sustainability, "green" building, quality management, construction and project management, design, architecture, sociology, psychology, whole systems thinking, and anything else that strikes my fancy.
Welcome.
